Embroidery-Look  Printable Designs Offered

Dallas, TX, 2-15-07 — Dallas-based embroidery design company Great Notions, Inc., announced a new type of artwork targeted to the direct-to-garment inkjet printing market. Great Notions Printables are based on the company’s stock embroidery designs, and cover a broad range of subject matter. Not simply embroidery “simulations” created in software, the printable images were created from high resolution scans of actual embroidery. The process is so unique the company has a patent pending.

Vice President of Marketing Deborah Jones says,” Over many years, we have developed a huge selection of artwork, with the distinction that it was created with the custom apparel decorator in mind, Now, the designs are available for both printers and embroiderers.”

The artwork is rich and dimensional, and reactions from industry insiders who have seen the printed embroidery graphics have been overwhelmingly positive. “Many people actually touch the print, as though they are trying to see if it is really embroidery,” says Jones.

The images are available in JPEG and PNG.formats and compatible with most graphic programs. The PNG format has a transparent background, eliminating time-consuming artwork preparation.

Individual designs are available for $10 each, and a variety of economical pack assortments are available.
